Our Mission

Hi! I’m Doreen Hill and I started this company "Your Phone Buddy" on November 1, 2020, as I saw a need in our country for one-on-one conversation. This was while the world was shut down and in turmoil with Covid-19. As the only staff member at the time, I helped many men and women just by listening to them! We wanted to bring back a safe and engaging way for humans to have an outlet for someone to listen. We aren’t some anonymous chat room, expensive hotline, counseling line or robot. We are real people ready to listen to whatever you have to say.

- A man in his 40's riddled his entire life with fear and tremendous guilt that he couldn't face a counselor or anyone he knew to tell his secret... after just 2 phone conversations he wondered why he didn't done this before. 

- One sweet lady needed a buddy to talk to after her 46-year marriage had ended. She didn't want to burden her friends with her troubles and just needed someone to vent to.

- A young mother with no family and few friends as she works a lot and cares for a son with learning disabilities. She just needed someone to hear her and tell her that she is doing a great job in life.

There are endless stories of people that needed to talk and couldn’t afford expensive help-lines or are stuck at home. I realized that I needed help and found some amazing people to join me on this journey to help people remotely. 

We have created an easy to use App and are striving to be open 24 hours a day.
